Learn About Us

Youth Against Poverty and Crime (YOPAC)

YOPAC was founded in 2011 by Bruce B. Yeboah and Momo Johnson to improve the lives of young people, women, and the elderly in post-war Liberia. Originally launched with community support, YOPAC has since expanded its reach to the United States, continuing its mission to empower the underprivileged. YOPAC is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Through initiatives in education, mentorship, healthcare access, economic empowerment, and community outreach, YOPAC fosters personal growth and social change. Committed to transparency and impact, we serve as a catalyst for opportunity, empowerment, and lasting transformation.
YOPAC empowers youth, women, and the elderly in underserved communities through programs that reduce poverty and prevent violence. Rooted in our SPICE values—Service, Passion, Integrity, Commitment, and Empathy—we are dedicated to creating safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
We envision creating a world where every individual—regardless of age or background—has the opportunity to thrive in safe, empowered, and self-sufficient communities, free from poverty and violence.
